Cheshire Home Election Rules (AGM on Wednesday, 22.7.2026)
Election Rules, as approved by the Managing Committee in
consultation with the Election Officer, Sri Y.K. Jain Advocate.
- At the Annual General Meeting (AGM) Every member present in person, shall have one Vote. (No Proxy allowed)
- To be eligible to vote / attend AGM, members have to obtain a prior ‘No Dues Certificate’ from Cheshire Home Lko. Honarary member(s) may attend AGM, but shall not be eligible to vote.
- ‘No Dues Certificate’ to be obtained by all members from Cheshire Home Lucknow by Tuesday,14.7.2026. The members who fail to obtain the ‘No Dues Certificate’ shall be ineligible to participate.
- Eligible members (voters) list to be displayed by 15.7.2026. An eligible member, can be either a candidate or proposer or seconder. (Any one)
- Cost of nomination form shall be Rs 3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand only) Non- refundable.
- Nomination for contesting the Election for Managing Committee Member (MCM), to be filed in person by candidate between 12 noon & 3 pm on Friday, 17.7.2026 or Saturday, 18.7.2026 alongwith ‘No Dues Certificate’ , Aadhaar Card & Proposer, Seconder in person.
- List of candidates with valid nomination to be displayed by 3 pm on Sunday, 19.7.2026.
- Last date for withdrawal of nomination shall be Monday, 20.7.2026 by 3 pm.
- Final List of candidates to be displayed on Tuesday, 21.7.2026 by 3 pm. Incase of Fourteen (or less) valid nominations, all candidates will stand elected.
- In case of more than Fourteen valid nominations, the Election for MCM will be held on Wednesday, 22.7.2026 during AGM & results announced thereafter.
- Election rules to be framed from time to time, by the Election officer, as per requirement. Decision of the election officer shall be final & binding.
