Rules for Residents
- Committee Members wishing to visit the Home or take guests will inform the Secretary and in the absence of Secretary, the Vice Chairman / Chairman before visiting the Home.
- Any complaint received from the Residents will be passed on to the Secretary, who will inform the Chairman and the concerned Member about the action taken.
- Members of the Home are expected to take active part in all projects approved by the Management Committee and assist the Home in all possible ways.
- No member of the Home will discuss policy or other matters of the Home with Government, Semi-Government, or Private organizations or individuals without prior consultation and approval of the Chairman.
- Names of members who default in paying monthly donation/contribution for one year will be removed from the list after a reminder notice of 15 days.
- The Management Committee reserves the right to remove any member from the organization for non-cooperation or any act that affects smooth working or causes dissatisfaction.
- Each member will do his/her utmost to enhance the image of the Cheshire Home.

Rules for Members and Friends of Cheshire Home Lucknow
To promote greater participation in social and welfare work towards the disabled and chronically ill persons,
Members of the Cheshire Home Lucknow are guided by the following rules:
- Any person approved by the Committee may be invited to become a Member of Cheshire Home, Lucknow.
- A person who becomes a Member undertakes a noble and humanitarian responsibility of caring for fellow human beings.
- Members are welcome to visit the Home or bring gifts, donations, and food items, which must be routed through the Secretary.
- Items banned or not recommended by the Home Doctor for Residents will not be accepted.
- Membership entrance fee is Rs. 500/-. Thereafter, each member is requested to donate Rs. 100/- per month.
- Each member will endeavour to enlist as many new members as possible.
- The Secretary will maintain a list of all Members and invite them to various functions held from time to time.
- Members will NOT admonish or instruct Home staff directly. Suggestions must be routed through the Secretary.
- Committee Members may visit the Home at least once a month. Other visitors must inform the Secretary or Chairman in advance.
- Any complaint received from Residents will be forwarded to the Secretary, who will inform the Chairman and concerned Member about the action taken.
- Members are expected to actively participate in projects approved by the Management Committee.
- No member will discuss Home policies with Government, Semi-Government, or Private organizations without prior approval of the Chairman.
- Members defaulting on monthly contribution for one year will be removed after due notice.
- The Management Committee reserves the right to remove any member for non-cooperation or actions causing dissatisfaction or confusion.
